Are you experienced in performing at wedding receptions/functions?

A: -

Yes! Toccata are experienced with functions/events of all types.

Q: -

Which areas do you work geographically?

A: -

Usually the Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, occasionally Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire etc.

Will you learn any particular songs for me if not currently in your set list?

A: -

Yes but depends upon song style. Prior notice to the function is required. As much notice as possible is appreciated.

Will you play any particular song/s from your set list if requested?

A: -

Yes, but obviously it is not possible to play the complete set list on a night, Toccata choose songs from the list to suit the function.  A few weeks minimum notice prior to the function is required. As much notice as possible is appreciated.

What is your dress code?

Smart/casual, appropriate and in keeping with the function.

How long do you need to set up/pack down?

A: -

Normally, about 1 hour, 1 hour and 30 minutes maximum set up, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour pack down. Depends upon venue

How much space do you require?

A: -

Generally a live band requires approximately 5m by 4m but compromises can be made to fit into tighter spaces. More room is required if a larger P.A. system/light show/ Karaoke/show/live recording is requested. Depends on the clients wishes, contact to discuss.

What are your power requirements?

A: -

At least two 13A sockets for the smallest P.A. system, within the stage/set up area. More sockets are required for larger venues with a much bigger P.A. system.

Can you work with a DJ?

A: -

Yes, but always ensure both parties are aware of this in advance and sufficient floor space/room is made available.

Do we need to provide any extra facilities?

A: -

Yes, an adequate secure room for leaving personal belongings and clothes changes. Please note, it is recognized that this is sometimes difficult in which case compromises will be made.

What will the volume levels be like?

To suit the size of venue, although Toccata will always adjust volume levels at the clients request

How long do you normally play for?

A: -

Typically, a total of 1 ½  to 2 hours but longer if the client wishes. Normally split into sets of 30 or 45 minutes

Can you provide backing music in between your sets?

A: -

Yes, normally via CD. Please contact to discuss the appropriate style of music for your event.

Is your equipment PAT tested?

A: -

Yes.

Do you have public liability insurance?

A: -

Yes, with a £5M indemnity.

What can you offer that sets you apart from other bands?

A: -

Complete versatility, a hint of comedy, years of experience and a very high standard. All band members are mature ex-professional musicians. Toccata performs songs most bands would not attempt.
